Module 02: Strengthening Management Capacity of POSLUHDES as a Village Literacy Center

The content explores five main agricultural literacy dimensions: reading and writing, numeracy, science, digital, and financial literacy—integrating them into community learning through rural libraries, inclusive knowledge spaces, and participatory agricultural hubs. It introduces the Perpustakaan Khusus Berbasis Inklusi Sosial (PKBIS) model—socially inclusive agricultural libraries that facilitate training, mentoring, and information access for farmers.

In practice, the module guides how Posluhdes can transform into community literacy centres through programs such as information corners, digital resource utilization, technical literacy workshops, and collaborative learning between farmers, extension officers, and local institutions. Success stories, including Posluhdes Bina Warga Tani in Bogor, demonstrate empowerment through localized knowledge-sharing and sustainable agricultural innovation.
