Training of Trainers on Smart Farming on Greenhouse Production for Fruit Crops and Leafy Vegetables

Training of Trainers (TOT) program focused on smart farming techniques for greenhouse production of fruit crops and leafy vegetables, held at Bukid Amara Farm, Lucban, Quezon. Funded by the Asian Food and Agri Cooperation Initiative (AFACI) and organized by the Philippine Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), the program provided sixteen regional high value crop specialists and Learning Site for Agriculture cooperators with in-depth technical and practical training. Covered topics included greenhouse system design, crop-specific cultivation, plant nutrition, irrigation, automation, pest and disease management, hydroponics, and business/marketing aspects, with a strong focus on adaptability and promoting sustainable smart farming practices in the Philippines.
