Growing fenugreek (Economic Calculations for Farmers)

Farmers who grow yams for household consumption or to provide a market for themselves and their families use labor, time, land, water, tools, and other factors of production. All of these have value and are part of the capital of production. Therefore, collecting data on the cost of various inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, labor, water, packaging materials, and transportation to consumers or destination markets is essential to have accurate information to input into the economic calculation process of production.

Economic analysis in the cultivation of yams is both a tool and an important step that helps to see the value of investment and returns to determine the correct and appropriate production and business plans. In addition, it also helps producers to have stable market integration and move towards higher levels of competition.
